SOUTHAMPTON- GREENWAY RAIL TRAIL CONSTRUCTION, FROM COLEMAN ROAD TO ROUTE 10

The primary goal of the project is to provide bike accommodations between Route 10 and the existing terminus of the Manhan Rail Trail at Coleman Road in Southampton. The proposed shared use path will help fill the gap between the Westfield Columbia Greenway and the Southampton Manhan Rail Trail. Columbia Greenway to the south. The proposed trail will start at Route 10 near Brickyard Road and end at the Manhan Rail Trail at Coleman Road. The 3.12 mile section of trail will follow the existing railroad bed and will include the rehabilitation of two bridges, culvert repairs, a new hot mix asphalt shared use path surface, at grade road crossings, pavement markings, and signage.
