Project Description:
WEST SPRINGFIELD- WESTFIELD- BRIDGE PRESERVATION OF 9 BRIDGES IN I-90 CORRIDOR
This project will consist of cleaning and painting at nine bridges carrying or intersecting the I-90 roadway, in the towns of West Springfield and Westfield. The bridges carrying I-90 are the eastbound and westbound crossings over the PVRR and over Lockhouse Road, whereas the intersecting bridges are the overpasses at Montgomery Road, the Exit 3 ramp, Southampton Road, Birnie Avenue, and Prospect Avenue. Additionally, bridges will receive substructure repairs and minor steel repairs.
