GREENFIELD- BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS ON ROUTE 2A

The project is a proposed shared used path along the north side of Route 2A that connects 2 existing projects, one west and one east of the limits of work: 608414 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT TWO LOCATIONS, ROUTE 2 AND COLRAIN ROAD & ROUTE 2 AND BIG Y ENTRANCE and 612509 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, G-12-007, LOWER MAIN STREET (SR 2A) OVER GREEN RIVER respectively. The project also completes a gap in the bicycle and pedestrian planned network that connects further east to Greenfield town center through a complete streets project 610921 DOWNTOWN COMPLETE STREETS IMPROVEMENTS ON MAIN STREET (ROUTE 2A).
