Project Description:
NANTUCKET- INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AND MILESTONE ROTARY RECONSTRUCTION
The project proposes to reconstruct the Milestone Rotary at the intersection of Milestone Road, Sparks Avenue, Orange Street and Old South Road in Nantucket into a modern roundabout. In addition to congestion issues, the intersection is a 2008-2017 HSIP Bicycle Crash Cluster. The pedestrian and bicycle accommodations will be brought into conformance with design standards and the bus stops will be evaluated within the project.
