DIGHTON- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, D-08-002 (3L9), PLEASANT STREET OVER MUDDY COVE

The work under this Contract includes the replacement of Bridge No. D-08-002 Pleasant Street over Muddy Cove Brook. The work includes removing bridge superstructure; removing and disposing of the existing bridge abutments, and piles; installing permanent sheeting; installing steel H-piles, abutments, wingwalls, NEXT F bridge superstructure, approach slabs, and highway guardrail transitions; and installing metal bridge rail. The work also includes temporary water control, excavation, riprap slope protection, full depth roadway construction, sidewalk construction, milling and overlay, pavement markings, and utility relocation, the provisions of safety controls and signing for construction operations, and other incidental items included in the contract documents.
