LYNN- CENTRAL AVENUE NON-MOTORIZED ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

This project will include reconstruction of Central Avenue from Oxford Street to Blake Street and include short sections of Willow Street and Blake Street at locations intersecting with Central Avenue The roadway cross section will be designed to include an enhanced pedestrian environment and traffic calming elements to improve safety and access for all roadway users pedestrians bicycles transit and vehicle freight Complete Street elements proposed as part of this project include reconfigured sidewalks curb extensions reconfigured and enhanced crossing islands ADA compliant curb ramps roadway resurfacing and enhanced crosswalk markings.
