YARMOUTH- CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS ON ROUTE 28, FROM PARKER RIVER BRIDGE TO THE INTERSECTION OF OLD MAIN STREET/NORTH MAIN STREET/ROUTE 28

The proposed project encompasses approximately 2.25 miles of Route 28, from the bridge over Parker's River to the intersection with North Main Street /Old Main Street. The proposed improvements are anticipated to include, but are not limited to, upgrade of existing pedestrian facilities, addition of pedestrian facilities where there are currently connection gaps, the addition of bicycle accommodations, traffic signal upgrades at 3 signalized intersections, traffic safety improvements, stormwater improvements, and other incidental work. This project will support the Town's wastewater collection system project and will be the third and final phase of transportation improvements to Route 28 through Yarmouth, which will encompass a total of 5.25 miles.
