Project Description:
DISTRICT 5- ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENTS AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS (NORTHERN PROJECT)
The purpose of this project is to reconstruct and upgrade all deficient pedestrian curb ramps to full ADA compliance at four locations. The first location is in Brockton at the intersection of Route 27 (North Pearl St) & Oak St Ext. The second location is in Brockton at the intersection of North Pearl Street & Route 27. The third location is in Brockton along North Pearl Street between Healey Terrace and Cashman Rd. The fourth location is in Hingham along Whiting St (Route 53) from Peter Hobart Drive to Accord Ln. Additional curb ramps, sidewalk, crossings and crossing enhancements, curb extensions, and pedestrian signal upgrades will be evaluated on a location by location basis.
