LEOMINSTER- BRIDGE REHABILITATION, RETAINING WALL RECONSTRUCTION, ROADWAY AND SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION AND RELATED WORK AT THREE LOCATIONS

The proposed improvements involve structural repairs, retaining wall construction, slope restoration, sidewalk construction, roadway repair and related work at three locations. At Exchange Street, improvements include scour-related repairs and possible restoration of center pier and downstream wingwall. At Lancaster Street, from Malburn Street to Sage Avenue, improvements include full reconstruction/replacement of the retaining wall (approx. 60'-80' in length) at the corner of Malburn & Lancaster St., as well as adjacent sidewalk reconstruction. At Union Street Culvert at 135 Union Street, approximately 100 feet of slope at each quadrant will be relined with material (with re-use of site materials where feasible).
