DEDHAM- INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT MILTON STREET AND HIGH STREET

East Dedham Square is a major connector to Avery Elementary School, Dedham Middle School, Dedham High School, and the Smith Pond Playground. The purpose of this project is to improve vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle safety and provide efficient traffic operation and bicycle accommodations thru the intersection of Bussey St and Milton Street. The proposed scope of work will include the following: Traffic signal reconstruction, new crosswalks across all intersection approaches, geometry modification for bicycle accommodation, ADA sidewalk and curb ramp reconstruction. The proposed scope also includes landscape/streetscape area and street lighting.
