DISTRICT 4- SOIL RESTORATION TO PROMOTE POLLINATOR HABITAT AND STORMWATER INFILTRATION
The scope of the project will be the modification of the existing compacted site soil through the addition of aggregate (sand and crushed stone,) along with organic amendment (compost) to provide a substrate for native grasses and forbs, resulting in a natural cover that improves soil infiltration and habitat, while maintaining a surface that is resilient to future use.
