FOXBOROUGH- INSTALLATION OF OVERHEAD SIGN STRUCTURES WITH LANE USE SIGNS AT 6 LOCATIONS ON ROUTE 1 (NEAR GILLETTE STADIUM)

The purpose of the overhead gantries with lane use signs is to direct motorists traveling to and from Gillette Stadium and support use of the shoulder-lane for travel as well as use of a counter-flow lane to funnel traffic into dedicated parking areas and back to the major interstates post-event. The full matrix LED lane use signs on the gantries could allow for a lane to be designated as bus only during the event day traffic management. This will be a tangible benefit to support MSP and the traffic management for all stadium events and support public safety.
