Project Description:
DISTRICT 5- SCHEDULED AND EMERGENCY INSTALLATION OF BRIDGE SHIELDING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS
The work to be done under this Contract consists of designing and installing bridge shielding at various locations as directed. The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and traffic control to perform the necessary work. The Engineer, prior to installation, shall approve the shielding concept as well as all materials and parts. Note: The work under this Contract may involve any bridge location within District 5 except for Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Island.

Current Status: Current Operations: No work currently on site. Future Operations: WO #4; I-295 over US-1. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Expect periodic lane closures and restrictions. (as of 06/01/2026)
