BOURNE- CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR DEEP FOUNDATION LOAD TESTING IN ADVANCE OF SAGAMORE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT (CAPE COD BRIDGES PROGRAM)

The scope of work will involve the installation and load testing of drilled shafts, driven H-piles, driven pipe piles and drilled micro-piles. Drilled shaft testing will utilize bi-directional load cells (Osterberg Cells). Dynamic driven pile testing will use Pile Driving Analysis and Case Pile Wave Analysis Program techniques coupled with static axial compression and tension tests. Verification testing will use static tension tests for micro-piles and static lateral load testing of driven and drilled piles.
